Dr. Rahman is a double Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. He is qualified to treat individuals throughout their lifespan, from young childhood into adulthood, and his goal is to provide a warm, trusting environment where individuals and families can actively participate and collaborate in their treatment.

For many issues, medication may be a highly effective first line treatment. For many others, therapy or behavior management may be beneficial before making a decision about medication. Dr. Rahman believes that the choice to take, or not take, medication is in the hands of the family.
