Nicholas Pejic MD created our practice in 2008 by assembling the finest clinicians in New Orleans in an elegant Uptown setting. Dr. Pejic's father had trauma related symptoms due to surviving WWII, and he had two childhood friends complete suicide. These tragedies inspired him to create a psychiatry practice that could help patients before it was too late.

Dr. Pejic is a Tulane University School of Medicine trained physician and former chief resident at LSU Department of Psychiatry.  He has Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry and Mind-Body Medicine and specializes in Treatment Resistant Depression, Addiction Medicine, Ketamine Therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Genetic Testing. He is accompanied by Dr. Ashifur Rahman MD who heads our Child Psychiatry division,  Andrew Anson MD, a psychoanalyst and specialist in psychedelic medicine, and Kayla Seals NP, a psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in medication management and leads our Healthy Lifestyle Program.
